Assessments
At NeuroFlourish Psychology, our mission is to improve the accessibility of ADHD assessments for women seeking a late diagnoses.
You may have seen social media and thought “that’s me, or, she sounds like me,” you may find that you struggle with tasks that others find easy and it’s impacting on your life, or your child has just been diagnosed and you see similarities.
Déanne is dedicated to delivering comprehensive and evidence-based online ADHD assessments, and currently able to offer minimal wait times and clear treatment recommendations.
Some things to consider:
Psychologists CAN diagnose ADHD, they do NOT prescribe medication, this is done by a Psychiatrist. So what are the benefits of seeing a Psychologist now rather than waiting to see a Psychiatrist?
Experience a shorter waiting period for ADHD assessments.
If you find that the wait time for the Psychiatrist is short in your area, then you may want to see them and discuss a medication plan, then see a Psychologist for therapy, or if they are also an ADHD coach like Déanne, then possibly coaching. If however the wait is considerable, or you are having difficulty locating one who specialises in women then NeuroFlourish Psychology currently have short waiting times.
Comprehensive 2-3-Hour ( plus extra time- if cognitive or ASD assessments are required) Initial Session:
Benefit from extended assessment sessions, allowing for in-depth exploration of ADHD and differentiation from other conditions.
Online Accessibility:
Conveniently access assessments online, making our services available nationwide without the need for travel.
Post-Assessment Support:
Receive guidance in finding a psychiatrist and initiating behavioral treatment through our dedicated post-assessment care.
Early Behavioral Treatment:
Utilise the shorter wait time to commence behavioural treatment/ or coaching, and formulate work or study accommodation plans and ADHD friendly strategies for life, while awaiting psychiatrist consultations for medication discussions.
Sensitive and Trauma-Informed Approach:
All assessments conducted with sensitivity and a trauma-informed perspective for a supportive and understanding experience.
